CHECK OUT FAQS
Why use a professional pet sitter?
Your pet(s) can stay in familiar surroundings while being cared for by a professional who will make sure they get cuddles, snuggles and belly rubs. Maintaining your pet's schedule is easy to do and will greatly reduce the amount of stress the pets might have during your absence. Boarding facilities can be traumatic for pets due to the amount of other pets at a facility. Your pet may become over stimulated and exposed to possible illnesses. Depending on the number of pets at a facility your pet may not be given the attention he needs or is accustomed to. In addition to caring for your pet(s), a professional pet sitter will take care of your home by bringing in the mail and newspapers, rotating lights, closing blinds and watering plants inside or on your patio and doing a basic security check at each visit. If there is a problem in your home we will notify you. To sum it up: You will have peace of mind in knowing that your pet(s) and home are safe!

What types of pets do you care for?
We provide care for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, turtles, rabbits, goats, horses and other livestock. We are open to caring for any pet you may have. Ask us about when we had to learn to diaper a rooster! Yes, you read it right....diaper a rooster! If you should own a parrot of any species rest assured that we are very knowledgeable in the care of parrots. Not every pet sitter knows how to care for parrots. We do! We know what to look for and are very observant. We have owned a blue and gold Macaw, an Umbrella Cockatoo, a Moluccan Cockatoo, a Congo African Grey, and several more smaller birds.
Why is a Meet and Greet needed?
This gives you the opportunity to meet us before you engage our services. We want you to feel comfortable with us. Likewise, we want to feel comfortable with you and your critters. It's important that your pet(s) meet us beforehand so that when we show up for the first visit they won't be totally surprised. After all, if your pet(s) don't like us then we won't be a good fit. Also, during the Meet and Greet it gives us an opportunity to clarify any questions we may have about your instructions. You will be given some forms to fill out and can be left for us to pick up on our first visit. These pertain to each pet and to your home. You should know that there is no charge for the Meet and Greet.
How much advance notice do you require?
There is no such thing as booking a service "too early"! We are happy to accept last minute requests if our schedules can accommodate. There are no additional charges for last minute bookings. However, if you are not a current client we still must have a Meet and Greet prior to service.
How do I pay?
It is customary in the pet sitting industry for payment to be made prior to the commencement of service. An invoice will be provided to you either during the Meet and Greet or texted to you. You can leave your payment for us to pick up during our first visit. We take cash only.
What is your cancellation policy?
These policies are fully outlined in our Contract which you will be required to sign prior to service commencing.
How are keys handled?
Keys are tagged with the pet's name and returned to you after each booking is completed. The keys are never ever marked with the owner's name or address.
MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. CAN YOU TAKE THEM?
Of course we can! We will need to have on file a signed Veternarian Release. You will also have to provide a carrying case. Charges will apply. Ask us.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?
You bet! Bearded Dragons, hedgehogs, you name it! We are always willing to learn! We have over 35 years experience in care and handling of many different
parrots.
