How We Became  Petsitters

We are Garry and Linda Abrahamson and we have always had at least one pet in our home!  After all every home needs a pet and every pet needs a home, right? 

In 2008 we sold our business in San Antonio and decided to retire early to Kerrville.  Well that didn't work out as planned -  boredom soon set in. At that time our number of pets had dwindled to two dogs:  Sugar, a MinPin Garry rescued off the streets in San Antonio, and Willy, a Standard Poodle who was quite elderly and sick with cancer.  We were called to South Dakota to attend to a family emergency.  Unable to take the dogs with us, we boarded them at a very reliable kennel.  However, upon our return, Willy was extremely stressed to the point of having severe diarrhea.  Now he had been boarded on and off all his life so it wasn't a new experience for him.  This made us realize how much happier pets are when left in their own home, sleeping in their own bed, eating their own food, etc.  Hence, the idea of starting a pet sitting business in Kerrville - Wags 'n Wiggles Pet Sitters.  We added a partner who still owns that business today.  As a matter of fact, that business still has its very first client!

We were given an opportunity to move back to San Antonio that we just couldn't pass up.  So we decided to start Wags To Wiggles here in San Antonio.  After all, it has always been our home.  We have a lifetime love for animals which has led us to build this unique business. Our love of  animals of all kinds is our passion.  We understand it is a huge leap of faith to put your furry kids into the hands of strangers.  That's why we require a Meet and Greet which gives you the opportunity to get to know us and feel assured that we are reliable and experienced.  Part of the Meet and Greet is to meet your furry kids.  You need to feel assured that your  pets like and are comfortable with us. 

Currently we are owned by three pups - Sugar the MinPin, Beau a five year old Standard Poodle who never ever stops getting into trouble, and Zoey, a Yorkie who can do no wrong and is Garry's little darling.
